These Terms of Use apply to all natural or legal persons ("User") who access and use the website of RoNa Legal Hukuk Bürosu (https://www.ronalegal.com). By using the site you accept these terms.

Pursuant to the Türkiye Barolar Birliği (Union of Turkish Bar Associations) Lawyer Advertising Rules and the Attorney Act Article 55, we emphasize the following:

  • This website is for GENERAL INFORMATION purposes only. It does NOT constitute legal advice
  • An ATTORNEY-CLIENT RELATIONSHIP cannot be established through this website. A formal advisory relationship is established ONLY through a written engagement letter (vekaletname)
  • Site content does NOT constitute SPECIFIC ADVICE for any individual case. Information should not be acted upon without tailoring to your specific circumstances
  • For legal questions, you may request an initial consultation via the contact form, phone, or email; a formal advisory relationship begins only after consultation and an executed engagement letter

All content (text, images, logos, articles, calculator tools, videos) is the property of or licensed to RoNa Legal and is protected under Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works.

  • Commercial use is strictly prohibited
  • Quotations are permitted with attribution ("RoNa Legal — ronalegal.com") and a maximum of 250 words
  • Unauthorized copying, distribution, or creation of derivative works is prohibited; violations will be pursued through legal channels

3. User Responsibilities

By using this site you agree to the following obligations:

  • Refrain from spamming, automated scripts, unauthorized access attempts, DDoS, or other forms of attack

  • Refrain from any content, commerce, or transaction that may conflict with Turkish law

4. Limitation of Liability

Within the framework of attorney ethics and professional responsibility, you acknowledge the following limitations:

  • Site content is general information; it cannot be construed as legal advice for a specific matter
  • Decisions made by the User based on site content are the User's own responsibility
  • RoNa Legal shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • If the site becomes temporarily inaccessible or experiences technical errors, RoNa Legal will take reasonable measures but is not liable for indirect losses arising from such events
  • No RoNa Legal personnel may legally represent the User or provide binding advisory in the absence of a formal engagement letter

This limitation does not apply to damages caused by RoNa Legal's intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Under Article 115 of the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, liability arising from intent or gross fault cannot be limited or excluded by contract in advance.

The site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources (e.g. KVKK Authority, court decisions, foreign government bodies). These links are informational. RoNa Legal is not responsible for the content, privacy policy, or service quality of linked sites.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Governing Law: These Terms of Use and any disputes related to use of the site are governed by Turkish law
  • Jurisdiction: Kocaeli Civil Courts of First Instance and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction
  • Consumer Disputes: Users qualifying as consumers retain the right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Boards and Consumer Courts
  • International Clients: For non-Turkish nationals, applicable law may differ under private international law rules; this is determined by the engagement letter

7. Changes

RoNa Legal may update these Terms of Use at any time. Material changes are announced via a banner on the homepage and may be communicated via email to active users. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Previous versions are archived.

8. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found by a competent court to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be applied with the closest interpretation possible within the valid legal framework, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.
